“I LIVE IN A WORLD OF ABUNDANCE"

“And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work” (2 Cor. 9:8).
It seems that we are continually being bombarded with negative statements on the T V news, in the paper and on the radio, even when we talk to each other, telling us that we are in financial difficulty; people are out of work, losing their homes, and without medical benefits. All of this is basically true. Yet, I believe that we are at a crossroad; a crossroad where we have the opportunity to become conscious of where we are placing our energy, our trust and faith.
The idea that I would ask you participate in with me is to examine your thoughts. Ask yourself questions; “Am I feeling or sensing lack and limitation in my life? Does misfortune and adversity seem to be a continuing factor?” If this is so…Are you open and willing to change this scenario?
Unity teaches us to look beyond appearances and to visualize that which we desire. We teach that the thoughts we hold in our mind will become our reality and that we have the ability within us to change the challenges in our lives, to turn disaster into one of success and plenty by looking for the positive outcome. Ask yourself, “What do I want?” And then, bless what you have, hold the Truth that God’s energy is directing and guiding you to right action. “God created you and placed in you a world of plenty. He has given you the mind through which you are given rich ideas. …Pray often, keeping out of your mind all thought of lack, for in God’s world…your world…there is no lack” (Foundations of Unity).
Prosperity affirmation: “God is my instant, constant and abundant supply for which I give thanks! My world is filled with good. Thank you God.”
