New! eScrip: A Painless Way to Help Unity Community Church and Others

How does eScrip work?

Anyone can register their credit, debit, and grocery club cards with the eScrip program. When these cards are used to make a purchase with participating merchants, the eScrip program donates a certain percentage of the purchase to the UCCSJ.

How do I register?

  1. Use your web browser to go to www.escrip.com
  2. Click on the "sign up" link
  3. Our group number is 500021645
  4. If you search for "Unity Community Church" we're the one in San Jose!
  5. Register your support for Unity Community Church; you can designate up to 3 organizations to support
  6. Register your grocery club card from a participating merchant and/or your debit or credit cards.

I am already registered with eScrip.
How can I add UCCSJ to my contribution list?

Go to the eScrip web site (www.escrip.com) and use the Add/Change form to add "Unity Community Church" of San Jose to your list of donation recipients, group number, 500021645. You can specify what percentage of each donation goes to each group.

Will eScrip allow others access to my personal information?

  • eScrip uses grocery club cards or debit/credit card numbers and records of purchases soley to process the contributions generated by the purchases. Card numbers are kept confidential by eScrip and are disclosed only to participating merchants to calculate rebates. In addition:
  • eScrip will not sell or rent any personally identifying information about program participants to any third parties.
  • Purchase activity is not shared between merchants in the program.
  • Purchase item details are not sent to eScrip. eScrip receives only subtotals from merchants.
  • www.escrip.com is a VeriSign Secure web site. All information sent to this site is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties.

  • Sign up for hosting Sunday fellowship
  • Volunteer in the bookstore after Sunday Service
  • Teach our youth one Sunday a month
  • Assist the minister on Sunday morning
  • Help with mailings

  • Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be known as the Children of God.

  • pray for those who abuse you. To those who strike you on the cheek, offer the other also,
  • and from those who take away your cloak, do not withhold your coat as well. Give to everyone who begs from you,
  • and of those who take away your goods, do not ask them again. And as your wish that other would do to you, do so to them.
